Soil

The hydro-physical characteristics of soil in our vineyards are favorable due to good horizontal water permeability. According to the soil volume mass index, the soil is classified as dense and permeable. The mechanical contents of the soil are ideal for wine growing due to the primarily loam-clay, marl base and marl stone composition. The soil is easy for cultivation with intense microbiological activity which provides for an intense and vigorous growth environment. The PH soil reaction is generally neutral (6.52 – 7.20) to moderately alkaline (>7.20). This PH soil reaction allows vines an easy access to nutrients which aids in plant growth and development.
